Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and preparing for your trek.
Early in the morning, you will take a 45-minute flight to Lukla. From there, you will start trekking to Phakding, a small village located at 2,610 meters (8,562 feet) above sea level. The trek will take around 3-4 hours and will take you through beautiful rhododendron forests and along the Dudh Koshi River.
Today you will trek to Namche Bazaar, a bustling village at 3,440 meters (11,286 feet) above sea level. The trek will take around 6-7 hours and will take you through the Sagarmatha National Park, where you can see various species of flora and fauna.
Today you will take a rest day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the village, visit the local market, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains.
Today you will trek to Tengboche, a small village famous for its ancient monastery. The trek will take around 5-6 hours and will take you through pine forests and across suspension bridges.
Today you will trek to Dingboche, a village located at 4,410 meters (14,469 feet) above sea level. The trek will take around 5-6 hours and will take you through the Imja Khola Valley.
Today you will take another rest day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the village, visit the local bakery, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains.
Today you will trek to Lobuche, a small village located at 4,940 meters (16,207 feet) above sea level. The trek will take around 5-6 hours and will take you through the Khumbu Glacier.
Today you will trek to Gorak Shep, a small village located at 5,164 meters (16,942 feet) above sea level. After dropping off your bags at your lodge, you will trek to Everest Base Camp, which is located at the foot of Mount Everest. The trek will take around 6-7 hours round trip.
Trek back to Pheriche Early in the morning, you will hike to Kalapatthar, which offers stunning views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. After spending some time at the summit, you will trek back to Pheriche, a small village located at 4,371 meters (14,340 feet) above sea level.
Today you will trek back to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through Tengboche and Phakding.
