Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative from the trekking company who will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city.

 

 

 

Early morning, you will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After landing in Lukla, you will meet the trekking team and start the trek to Phakding. The trail follows the Dudh Kosi River and passes through small villages and forests.

 

The trail continues along the Dudh Kosi River and crosses several suspension bridges. You will pass through the Sagarmatha National Park entrance before reaching Namche Bazaar, the largest town in the Everest region.

 

You will spend the day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the altitude. You can explore the town, visit the local market, and hike to the nearby Khumjung village.

 

The trail ascends through forests of rhododendron and pine before reaching Phortse Thanga, a small village with views of Mt. Khumbila.

 

The trail climbs steeply up to Dole and then follows the Dudh Koshi River before reaching Machhermo, a small village with views of the surrounding peaks.
