Itinerary
After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), you will meet one of our representatives and transfer to the hotel.
After driving from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1350m), we will hike through the through the Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve and past several small settlements before heading down through a rhododendron forest and arriving at Chisopani.
We will spend the day trekking from Chisopani to Kutumsang, crossing through meadows and fields as well as climbing over the Gul Bhanjyang ridge and another pass en route.
We will hike due north to the Yurin Danda ridge, ascending steeply as we go. After crossing the ridge, we will descend down a rugged trail, passing through a fir and rhododendron forest to Tharepati.
We will spend the day hiking on to Tarkeghyang, the largest village in the Helambu region.
We will spend the day resting in and exploring Tarkeygyang. We will have the option to climb the nearby peak of the same name (3771m) and enjoy stunning views from its summit.
We will spend a relatively easy day trekking along flat lands until we arrive in Shermathang.
We will spend the day gradually descending to Melamchi Pul Bazaar through meadows and cultivated fields. As we go, we will pass through several villages and get the chance to meet local Sherpa people and learn about their culture.
We will spend the day driving back to Kathmandu.
We will spend the day exploring Kathmandu before having a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant in the evening.
