Day 2: Leh – Local Sightseeing After breakfast drive to Alchi Monastery (70kms) is the most famous and oldest of all Gonpas built in around 11th century by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo (the great translator). Likir Monastery (55kms) founded in 1065 A.D by Lama Duwang Chosje belongs to Gelugpa order, packed lunch will be provided (optional), on the way visit Hall of Fame (war museum), Spituk Monastery (7kms) founded by Od-Lde in 11th century A.D and was named by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo (the great translator), Pathar Sahib (Gurudwara), Magnetic Hill and Sangam (35kms) confluence of river Indus and Zangskar. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley After early breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardongla Pass (18,380ft) the world’s highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier, the views from the top of the pass are amazing. Visit Deskit Monastery (118kms) founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo in 1420 A.D. Packed Lunch will be provided (optional), post lunch visit Hundar village (7kms from Deskit) and Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in sand dunes between Hundar and Deskit villages. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra.
Day 4: Nubra Valley – Leh After breakfast drive to Samstanling Monastery founded by Lama Tsultims Nima and belonging to Gelugpa order at Sumur village. Further away from Sumur is the Panamik village known for its natural hot springs comprises of medicinal values. Packed lunch will be provided (optional). Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 5: Leh –Pongong After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500ft), 4-5 hrs drive one way through Changla Pass (17,350ft) third highest motor able road in the world. This famous blue brackish salt water lake is 5-6 kms in width and around 134 kms in length with 75 percent of its running the other side of the Indo China Border. On the way visit Shey Palace (15kms) Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings, where you can see three storied statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, made of copper and plated with gold. Thiksay Monastery (17kms) the 12 storied Monastery of Thiksay is the principal Monastery of Gelugpa order situated in the most prominent of positions lies on an island mountain, packed lunch will be provided (optional), dinner and overnight at Camp in Pangong.
Day 6: Leh – Hemis Monastery – Leh After breakfast drive back to Leh via same route visiting Hemis Monastery (45kms from Leh) the largest and most famous Monastery in Ladakh, packed lunch will be provided (optional), and can visit Sindhu Ghat before reaching Leh. Evening free to explore the local markets of Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 7: Leh – Tsomoriri Lake – Overnight After breakfast leave for Tsomoriri Lake (14,000 ft), 7-8 hrs one way drive on the way visiting Chumathang Hot Spring. Packed lunch will be provided (optional), Dinner and overnight at Camp/Hotel in Tsomoriri. Day 8: Tsomoriri Lake – Leh After breakfast drive back to Leh visiting Puga Sulphur Mine, Tsokar Lake and through Taklang La Pass (17585 ft) second highest motorable road in the world. Packed lunch will be provided (optional), evening free to explore the local markets of Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh. Day 9: Leh Drop Early morning transfer to airport to catch your onward flight back home with sweet memories of Ladakh.
Day 01 – Arrive Srinagar:- On arrival our office representative will meet and drive you to your hotel/houseboat from the airport. Afternoon / Evening we will check the all the equipment as well as bikes. Later we can do some ride by bikes Srinagar. Overnight Stay at hotel/Houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 02 –Srinagar –Kargil:- After breakfast, continue your adventurous motorbike riding to Kargil, 204 km approx from Srinagar. Pass across Drass village (world’s second coldest region after sebria), Zojila Pass (Gateway of Ladakh), Sonamarg (Meadow of gold), halt at Sonamarg for refreshment then continue to Srinagar. Check inn hotel in Kargil. Do sightseeing in Kargil and overnight stay at hotel in Kargil.
Day 03 –Kargil –Lamayuru – Leh:- After breakfast we start from Kargil to Lamayuru and around 40 Kms down the road is the town of Mulbek, a sleepy town which many would pass through without knowing the fact that next to the road is a statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha. It is believed that the 9 meter high statue carved out of solid rock was built in 7th or 8th century. Although one is not allowed to take photographs of the statue, the statue itself is a must see for any one passing through Mulbek. A short ride from Mulbek will take you to 12198 ft high Namika La, a windy yet scenic pass. Roughly at about 40 Kms from Namika La is Fotu La, the highest point on the Srinagar – Leh highway, (13,479ft). After short yet scenic ride/drive you will reach the village of Lamayuru, which houses one of the most famous and oldest monasteries of Ladakh. Few kms down the road from Lamayuru are the Hangro Loops, the 18 loops are fast yet sharp loops with steep gorges, drive/ride carefully here. Next major attraction comes in the form of Gurudwara Patthar Sahib located in the town of Nimmu (55kms from Leh), beyond which it’s fast and straight forward drive/ride to Leh Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 04 –Leh – Local Sightseeing:- After breakfast, Ride bike to Shey (Ancient Capital of Ladakh). Visit Shey Palace wherein you visit big copper gilt statue of Lord Buddha, built by Deldan Namgyal in 1633AD. After the visit, continue to Thiksey. Visit picturesque monastery (little Potala), is the oldest monastery of Gelugpa sect in Ladakh. The great Lama Paldan Shesrap built in 15th century. Here you visit the big statue of the Future Buddha. Enjoy awesome panoramic view of Indus valley from the roof of monastery. After visiting this monastery, continue ride to Stakna via crossing Indus River. Visit Stakna monastery, built in 16th century by Lama great scholar saint of Bhutan during the lifetime of Jamyang Namgyal. Later ride to Stok Palace, visit the royal palace, constructed by the king Tsespal Tondup Namgyal in 1825AD. Inside the palace, you see great collection of ancient royal ornaments, Thankas (scroll paintings) and old statues. After the visit ride back to Leh via crossing Indus River at Choglamsar. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 05 –Leh –Nubra Valleys:- After breakfast, Ride Exciting experience at Khardung La, 39 Kms from Leh. (Mountain Pass at 5578 m / 18300 ft.). This is supposed to be the highest motorable road in the world. In Nubra Valley, visit Diskit, Hunder villages and the white sand dunes and take a short camel safari on the double humped Bactrian Camels. Overnight stay at Camp in Nubra Valley.
Day 06 –Nubra Valleys – Leh:- In the morning after breakfast check out and proceed to explore Samstanling Monastery and Sumur village and then drive back to Leh, passing Khardung La once again. Drop to hotel and lunch. Rest of the day for leisure or take a walking tour and explore Leh Bazaar and the cafes’ on your own. Overnight at hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.
Day 07 –Leh – Pangong:- Start off from Leh early in the morning after breakfast and start driving/riding on the Leh – Manali highway till you reach the town of Karu. Road is in good condition and journey is fast paced, due to this you will be in Karu in less than an hour. From Karu you need to take the left turn that would take you to the village Shakti, roads are mostly straight till you cross Shakti and a few kilometer thereafter the real ascent for Chang La starts. For most part ascent is steep and initially roads are in good condition. As you approach the final few Kms of the ascent to Chang La, road conditions start to deteriorate and steepness increase, making the affair of reaching the summit of Chang La more challenging and memorable. After a few minutes rest, it’s time to begin the descent from Chang La and your next big break will be at Tanksey. Journey beyond Tanksey for most part is through fantastically laid tarmac and views, as you approach the lake, the sheer size of it starts becoming more apparent as you finally reach its shores. Overnight stay at Camp in Pangong Lake.
Day 08 –Pangong – Leh:- Drive back to Leh (150 kms – 5 hrs). Enroute take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. Time permitting; explore local Leh market for shopping. Day 09 –Leh – Kargil:- Leh to Kargil via Lamayuru. It is just a 6 hrs drive and the road condition is also a lot better so start after a relaxed breakfast. You can also visit again Lamayuru Monastery on the way. You can also experience Magnetic hill, visit Gurudwara pathar Sahib and the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river. If you do, add to the time accordingly and overnight stay at hotel in Kargil.
Day 10 –Kargil – Sonamarg:- After breakfast, continue your adventurous motorbike riding to Srinagar, 123 km from Kargil. Pass across Drass village (world’s second coldest region after sebria), Zojila Pass (Gateway of Ladakh), Sonamarg (Meadow of gold), halt at Sonamarg. Overnight stay at hotel in Sonamarg. Day 11 –Sonamarg – Srinagar:- After breakfast leave from Sonamarg. Drive towards Srinagar. Visit Srinagar half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Adobe of love), Shankaracharya Temple, Pari Mahal, and Hazratbal Shrine. Overnight Stay in the hotel/houseboat. Day 12 –Srinagar Drop:- After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to Srinagar Airport. However, on your way, you can make a brief stopover for Shopping and then for your onward flight.

Day 01: Delhi to Manali. Evening we board the A/C Volvo coach to Manali (Overnight Journey)
Day 02: Arrive Manali Upon arrival at Manali Bus Stand you’ll met by our representative and transfer to Hotel. Post breakfast Check and verify your bikes before starting expedition to Ladakh… Evening at Leisure & Overnight at Hotel
Day 03: Manali – Tandi (129 Kms) We will make an early start towards Tandi, our next night halt. The abundance of greenery and trees dramatically disappears into arid landscapes as we ascend the steep mountains over Rohtang Pass. We can expect a few muddy tracks at times. Overnight camp at Tandi.
Day 04: Tandi – Sarchu (114 Kms) Post breakfast we check out from the hotel and ride north on the Manali-Leh Highway. You get to see some of the most breath taking landscapes that the Western Himalayas can offer. The scenery gets more stark and barren as we climb up to the 16,500 ft high Baralacha La the second mountain pass on our journey. From the pass beautiful views of meadows and snow-capped mountains can be seen. By early evening we reach the small hamlet of Sarchu with set on a large plateau. Upon arrival in Sarchu we check into camp. Evening at leisure & overnight stay at the camp.
Day 05: Sarchu – Leh (255 Kms) Leave for Leh by early morning, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Upon arrival in leh you’ll met by our representative and check in at our Hotel. Day 06: Leh Today is a well deserved rest day for the man and the machine. It is essential at this altitude to acclimatize.
Day 07: Leh – Khardung La (5602 M) – Nubra Valley (127 Kms) Today is the day we all came on this ride – to be on Top of the World – the Khardung La (5602M)!!! The initial smooth going track becomes tougher as we ascend, full of boulders and stones – but it is certainly worth the ride. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay.
Day 08: Nubra Valley – Leh After an early breakfast we check out from the Camp and drive to HUNDER where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road are rocky mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. On the return stop at DISKIT which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later we drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh you will check in to your Hotel.
Day 09: Leh – Pangong Tso (140 Kms) Today we head towards Pangong Lake. enroute visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh &3 Idiots Rancho School & further 5 Kms Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Ascend the height of the world’s third highest motorable pass Chang la over landslide prone area and wayward mountain streams deciding to change course at will. Upon arrival we check in at our camp / resort for overnight stay. One of the toughest water crossings on this route is near the Lake – real challenge for man and machine! But once you get to the lake you will forget the tough ride, the maniacal streams and the cold…To find such a huge expanse of calm blue water at that altitude! It’s definitely worth the ride. The Pangong Tso (lake of great hollowness) is almost 130 Km long and 06 to 07 Km wide, extending east to west at a height of 14000 Ft.
Day 10: Pangong Tso – Leh Today we will head back the same way to Leh. We’ll make an early start and try to reach Leh by afternoon enroute visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. We need a well deserved rest and an early night. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11: Leh (Excursion to Lamayuru – 125 Kms / One Way) After an early breakfast we ride to the 11th Century Lamayuru Monastery enroute visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of Land are visible as on the moon), Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides. On your return drive to Leh you first visit the Alchi Gompa. The complex of temples located within the village is the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries and dates back to the 11th century. Finally you arrive back at Leh for an overnight stay at your Hotel.
Day 12: Depart Leh Tour concludes. North Guru. thanks you for your patronage and ensures a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward.
